Hi, I’m Romina, Registered Mental Health Counselor and owner of Longboat Counseling Services. My team and I are here to help you.

Together we will explore the various facets of your life, understanding and learning how they interconnect and impact your mental health. This explorations is important to understand the root causes of your struggled instead of treating the symptoms. Often times anxiety, depression, and relationship issues can stem from experiences and events that are not immediately clear to you. This is where we step in. 

We are trained in a variety of techniques, including CBT (cognitive-behavioral therpay), mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, amongst others.  You are unique and your treatment needs to be personalized for you. 

Our joint goal is to empower you to understand and manage your mental health better, by working collaboratively to develop coping strategies and skills that allow you find long-term well-being as well as giving you the tools to identify potential situations in the future and tackle them with your new knowledge and understanding as they are happening.
