Jorge Melendez Noriega
About Jorge
I received my Masters in Marriage, Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Central Florida.
– I am a child of an immigrant and understand the journey of two cultures colliding, as well as I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English, so please do not hesitate to mix them into Spanglish.
– Through various combined experiences, I found a passion for working with individuals and their relational issues; not only romantic, but also with siblings, friendships, and relationships between parents and children. I also find that diving into trauma and how it affects our development towards making connections.
– I gained clinical experience doing my internship at the Central Receiving Center with Aspire Health Partners where we assessed and evaluated incoming clients that had been placed under Baker Acts, Marchman Acts, Ex-Parte’s, and/or admitted voluntarily.
– I look forward to geƫting to know you and helping through your journey of healing and finding better ways to manage this thing we call “Life.”
